Okro soup is a very delicious soup that you can enjoy during dinner time and serve warm.
Ingredients for the okro soup:
- Goatmeat
- Fresh fish (scumbia)
- Crayfish
- Stockfish
- Dried fish (mangala)
- Cut Okra
- Well cut Pumpkin leaf (Ugu)
- Cut Uziza leaf
- (Palm oil, Ground fresh pepper and Onion)
- Seasoning cubes and salt to taste
Directions
- I seasoned the Goatmeat, Fresh fish and Stockfish with seasoning cubes, half of the cut Onion, half of the crayfish as well, fresh pepper then, cook till tender.
- I removed the fish to avoid scattering then, I Put the cooked fish in an empty bowl, covered it and set aside.
- I added the mangala fish, add my palm oil, the remaining onion, crayfish and salt to taste.
- I cooked till the water added dried a little, added the cut okra, I stirred it and adjusted the salt and the seasoning cube. I covered it and simmered for about 6-7mins.
- Put my fish and chopped Uziza then, cooked for about 2mins
I now added my Ugu immediately. I brought it down and served it hot...... (serve hot).????????
