Active Ingredients
Baby Tribotan Cream contains two active ingredients: Clotrimazole and Ichthammol.

Baby Tribotan Cream is used to treat a range of skin conditions, such as:
– Nappy rash or diaper rash: This is a common condition that affects babies who wear diapers. It is caused by the irritation of the skin by urine, feces, or friction. It can also be caused by a fungal or bacterial infection. Baby Tribotan Cream helps to soothe the irritated skin and prevent or treat the infection.
– Sweat itch: This is a condition that affects babies who sweat a lot, especially in hot and humid climates. It is caused by the overgrowth of fungi or bacteria in the moist areas of the skin, such as the neck, armpits, or groin. It can cause redness, itching, and scaling of the skin. – Ringworm: This is a condition that affects the skin, hair, or nails. It is caused by a type of fungus that forms a ring-shaped rash on the skin. Mechanism of Action
The mechanism of action of clotrimazole and ichthammol are as follows:
– Clotrimazole: This medication targets 14-alpha demethylase, an enzyme essential for converting lanosterol to ergosterol in the fungal cells. By inhibiting this enzyme, this medication disrupts the synthesis of ergosterol, accumulating toxic sterol intermediates and causing structural damage to the fungal cell membrane
– Ichthammol: This medication has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antimycotic properties. It is thought to act by slowing down the growth of bacteria and fungi, as well as reducing the inflammation and pain associated with skin infections.
Application
Baby Tribotan Cream should be applied to the affected area of the skin two to three times a day, or as directed by a doctor or pharmacist. The cream should be applied in a thin layer and gently rubbed in until it is absorbed. The area should be kept clean and dry, and avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, or nose.
